Belle et Sébastien: l’aventure continue

Directed by

1945. The Second World War is over and ten-year-old Sebastien lives in the small village in the French Alps of Saint-Martin with his dog Belle and adoptive grandfather Cesar, waiting for the return of Angelina, Cesar's daughter, who was awarded the military valour by the French and British for her involvement in the Resistance. When the plane that is bringing her back home crashes in the mountains with no apparent survivors, the boy is convinced that Angelina is not dead and therefore decides to set off in search of her together with his trusty Belle. Already reaching the wreckage is a feat, but it will only be the beginning of an adventure that will mark for Sebastien a fundamental transition from childhood to adolescence.
