This documentary follows the flow of the water from its source in the mountains to its mouth in the sea, showing the beds of the Piedmontese rivers and their unnatural changes in the recurring autumnal floods of the last few years. The camera focuses on flooded Turin, as it actually was in November 2000, recording the damage caused by water. It helps to fix in our historical memory the images of a Turin never seen before, overwhelmed by sediment and mud. The film, underscored by the music of bands such as Mau Mau and Subsonica, ends with a song by De Andrè, which accompanies a by now quieter river to its mouth.
