Sour Lake

Directed by

The canton of Sour Lake in Ecuador, so named in the 1960s when the Texas Oil Company dominated the area, is now called Lago Agrio. Here, the Amazonian forest meets the Columbian Andes in a passage of time over the centuries. The villagers are concerned about the relationship between their land, the construction of production infrastructure, and the local residents.
