Sette minuti

Directed by

The film is set during the 1951 flood in Polesine. A pregnant woman is alone at home, and the water is flooding in. Her husband, gone to call the midwife, is cut off by the flood. He will come back later, but the woman will already have given birth to her baby. The story is preceded by images of the flood from a French newsreel.
