Semalu - The Children of Cheras

Directed by

The daily life of a group of children in Cheras, a district on the outskirts of Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, which until recently was a jungle swamp that has become an example of forced modernization. The children’s parents moved there 30 years ago with the dream of building a new future. Perhaps in search of a more authentic and spiritual sense of existence.
