Qotzuñi: People of the Lake

Directed by
Poopó is Bolivia’s second largest lake and extends 3000 km2. It has dried up due to deviation of its sources and prolonged drought related to climate change. What remains of the lake is a salt crust. The URU-Murato indigenous community, whose livelihood depended on the lake, must now adapt to the new circumstances.
