Perù: infanzia negata

Directed by

In Peru, day after day children's dreams are spoiled by hunger, poverty and disease. More than two million children there are currently forced to work to help support their families. Indeed, Peru is the only Latin American country to permit children under the age of twelve to work. This dramatic reality is further exacerbated by the influx of poverty stricken masses into the big coastal cities, especially Lima, the capital, in a desperate search for jobs and survival.
