MexicoS8

Directed by

The subject of the film, shot in stop motion Super8, is a journey across Mexico which took place in October 1996 on the occasion of the Zapatista Congress and the National Demonstration that saw numerous native communities participating from all the states of the Mexican Federation. The perception of the trip and the fragmentation of memories turn into a kaleidoscope of chaotic images inside the traveller's mind, a mix of instants that the film records and gives back to the audience's eyes in the shape of fragments.
