After a long absence Vittorio De Seta comes back to Sicily to honour the anthropologist Antonino Uccello, passionate student of folk customs and founder of the "Casa Museo Antonino Uccello" in Palazzolo Acreide (Syracuse). A journey tracking ancient memories between witness and old curiosity stuff, digging out the wit and genius of a romantic poet, a timeless personality who has bravely faced modernity, preserving past memories and the history of a country and a folk.
