Cachorro Loco

Directed by

Drivers in Saõ Paolo in Brasil call them "mad dogs", they refer to them as "irresponsible, arrogant, drunk and junkies”. They are talking about the novice deliverymen and their age ranges between 18 and 26. In order to carry out their deliveries on time they drive their motorbikes like mad lunatics, they go over pavements, wreck driving-mirrors and zoom past cars in the narrow isles between one vehicle and the other, as if fighting united against the world. They are now a real clan: only in Saõ Paolo there are 439.000 of these motorboys. The slowness of the traffic and growing rates of unemployment made this temping job a really popular and widely spread job. Each day one of them is killed in a car accident.
