A dramatic behind the scenes account of deforestation in Papua New Guinea perpetrated by the local logging industry. A tale of exploitation and unkept promises, filmed semi-secretly, where the native populations are treated as second class citizens by the Malaysian logging companies and corrupt politicians. The legitimate owners of the land are forced to sign documents they do not understand, tricked into thinking they will receive fresh drinking water, medicines, and educational programs. Instead, they are left with destroyed hunting grounds, polluted water reserves, and a ruined lifestyle.
