WWF Missione Artico
Directed by
WWF Italy's first exploratory mission to the Arctic Ocean. On the boat, Quick Silver, a group of seven experts including marine biologists, mountain guides, and naturalists follow the wild east coast of Greenland to get first-hand experience of one of the places that are most affected by climate change. The journey is narrated by Isabella Pratesi, director of WWF Italy's conservation program. Not only does it show the beauty of unspoiled landscapes, but it also illustrates, through testimonies and interviews with ESA experts, how the gradual melting of the ice cap is disrupting the balance of the Planet's ecosystems, affecting everybody. A key contribution to understanding that the climate crisis needs to be addressed with awareness, smart use of technology, and, most importantly, the will to take action.
