70/30 Democracy’s Race Against the Climate Crisis
Directed by
In 2019 thousands of young Danes left their classrooms and filled town squares to demonstrate against climate change; they mobilized their parents and demanded answers. In an election year it was clear that public opinion would be focused on environmental policy and that climate issues would rank high on the political agenda. Now the new Danish government must make good on its election promises. Will politicians, citizens, and industry representatives be able to unite forces and make Denmark a pioneer in ecology or will the good intentions stated in the Law on Climate succumb to reality?
