A journey through the rubble of a Shangai neighborhood razed to make room for urban redevelopment projects that are changing the face and life of the city. Combining real-life footage with 2D and 3D animated sequences, the Chinese artist Zhenchen Liu reconstructs the city's former appearance before its fall to the frantic modernization of a society that seems to have lost contact with its past.
