To the End

Directed by

The story of four young women who  are leading with great determination the fight for the Green New Deal, a bold political programme aimed at stemming the consequences of climate change and making racial and economic justice part of the solution. Democratic Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, Varshini Prakash of Sunrise Movement, Alexandra Rojas of Justice Democrats and writer Rhiana Gunn-Wright are forced to come to terms with cynicism, disinterest and uncertainties including those generated by the pandemic. They were filmed during public occasions but also in their daily lives, sometimes busy dealing with long bureaucratic procedures that stifle any attempt at renewal. From street protests to the halls of Congress, a new narrative emerges, revealing the crisis as an opportunity to build a better society.
