SeaPaCS - Participatory Citizen Science against Marine Pollution

Plastic has created new marine ecosystems. The film describes the difficulties, discoveries, and results of the European Sea PaCS project, supported by the European Union Horizon IMPETUS4CS, coordinated by Chiara Certoma (University of Turin and University of Rome), Federico Fornaro (Lega Navale Italiana Anzio/Raw-News, and Luisa Galgani (GEOMAR Helmholtz Centre for Ocean Research Kiel and University of Siena). Filmed on location in Anzio, fishermen, immigrants, students, associations, scuba divers, artists, businessmen, and local administrators participated in a citizen science initiative led by social and natural scientists.
