One Earth - Tutto è connesso

The demand for pork meat has grown sharply in China. The intensive pig farms look nothing like a normal farm from the outside and raise doubt about their sustainability. In Europe, the Dutch Food Valley, called the Silicon Valley of Food, is one of Europe’s largest agribusiness centers and conducts research on plant-based meat. Two sides of the same coin: the search for higher profit has turned food production into a global business. In a dystopian view, the risks are not yet defined but there is already evidence for a negative impact on the planet.
