Mr. Beau

Directed by
When Beau, a golden retriever, develops a serious illness, Claudia investigates their relationship to understand how animal needs are met by humans. During her ethological study at the University of Pisa, comprising exercises and nature walks guided by an expert in human and animal behavior and their shared spaces, Claudia discovers that a dog’s perception is not species specific but rather a matter of individual character. The ethological research becomes a study of the relationship between human animal and non-human animals. Beau’s deep affection helps his owner learn the true meaning of things.
