A Resident of the City

Directed by

Some in Cairo have an easy life, others have a hard one. Between these two extremes are still others who live free but in misery: the stray dogs roaming Cairo’s streets. Adham El Sherif’s story takes a “dog’s eye view” of what it means to live a dog’s life and suggests that such a place in society merits protection.
