Le Rêve plus fort que la mort

Directed by

Three dreams of friendship and Dionysian adventure. The first recounts the return of Damouré to his hometown after having found success in Ghana. But since his departure, everything, including the Niger River, has undergone drastic change. A ritual sacrifice will have to be enacted to reawaken the river spirits. In the second dream, Tallou, having taken the place of Lam, gathers together a group of extraordinary cows and becomes herd leader. In the third and last dream, based on Persians by Eschilo, Diouldé plays the role of the shadow of dead king Dario.
