Food for Profit

Directed by
Intensive livestock farming has disastrous consequences that can no longer be denied. Animal mistreatment, water pollution, exploitation of migrant workers, loss of biodiversity, increasing antibiotic resistance, and the list continues. The film depicts a horrific picture of intensive farming in Europe and political concessions. Breeders, multinationals, and politicians are called to stand, while the investigating reporters reveal what is behind the excellence of meat and cheese production. Compelling images and accounts urge viewers to think critically about their food choices and what the can do for a healthier, more equal, and sustainable food production system.
