Collapse

Directed by

Loner and paranoid, stranger to the American optimism that has always guided the country, Michael Ruppert, former policeman, is a now a free-lance reporter who predicted long before it struck the present global economic crisis in a self-financed article that appeared in the magazine, «From the Wilderness», in 1998. Sitting in a darkened room that resembles a bunker more than a private home, Ruppert tells of his life, his theories on energy policy, and his hopes for a radical change in current development models that will avert a collapse of the system.
