That time – when trees were my playmates and I discovered the mystery of life sprouting, from a forgotten seed on the ground, and my elderly father, with the sweetness of a grandfather, was a sensitive, and mature guide to me – fixed the indelible signs of a culture, which this film wants to remember so that none of that gets lost, at least in memory».
«After six years of work, Alberi, uomini e poesia is the realization of a dream. Produced in low budget, it was finished thanks to the passion and tenacity that have accompanied me since my first film experiences. I call this strong will of mine a "peasant's will", which I owe to my parents: simple people but extraordinarily sensitive to life».
