We're Not Broke
Directed by
The United States is going through the worst economic recession since the Depression of the 1930s and is burdened by a record national debt. Yet under protection and with incentives from the U.S. government, as exerts and activists explain, many companies (Exxon, Google, and Bank of America among others), are reaping huge profits, exploiting consumers and obtaining state commissions without paying taxes. Following on the wave of protests in Great Britain, the corporate tax reform activist group US UnCut, founded in America in 2011, has mounted actions and demonstrations against the tax dodgers.
