Veneranda Augusta

Directed by

Europe’s largest petrochemical complex is located in Augusta (Sicily) where the death rate from cancer is over 30% and children are born deformed. This industrial holocaust is ignored by the national media and by government administration that pretend not to hear citizens desperate cry for help. Local priest Palmiro Prisutto denounces the situation and organizes community initiatives to protest what is happening.
