A good eye opener to the consequences of some of our choices would be a trip to the Easter Garbage Patch, an area about the size of Eastern Europe, where tons of plastic driven by ocean currents collect in the mid Pacific causing irreparable damage to the ocean's ecosystem. This in addition to the risk of intoxication to ourselves from the substances contained in the objects we use every day.
