Valentina e i MUOStri

Directed by

In a rural village near Niscemi in Sicily, Valentina crochets little roses while awaiting a solution to her existential dilemma. Her father tends his plants, which don’t seem to thrive under the US Army antennas erected nearby in a centuries-old cork tree orchard in the 1990s. Valentina’s road to emancipation and her family circumstances are closely tied to the village, which has suffered environmental damage from the military installations and electromagnetic radiation. Taking strength from her creativity, Valentina manages to gain a grip on her life by making a change in her situation and that of those around her.
