Un dragón de cien cabezas

Directed by
A fruit growing in the Garden of the Hesperides was believed to grant immortality. Somewhere off the coast of West Africa, protected by a dragon with 100 heads, lay the garden, now known as the Canary Islands. Intensive banana monoculture entails “sacrificing” the mother plant, which produced the fruit, and substituting it with the daughter plants in a continuous cycle of life and death. The myth is recalled through a sound technique: the electrical impulses emitted by the plants are converted into audible sound via biosonification.
