The long climb to reach a mountain peak, made even more arduous by relentless snowfall. Once at the top, you realize the reward was worth the effort: a breathtaking view of the valley below. But not for long. Civilization will soon grab hold of the last remaining uncontaminated place. In this reflection on the difficult relationship between man and nature, Mike Please, a young director used an innovative stop motion technique for his final year film.

«Spectacular View arose from a desire to create an environmentally aware film in an accessible,entertaining format, without patronising or preaching to the viewer. [...] The film was made using wooden stop motion puppets, composited into an arctic environment of milk clouds and coconut snow».
