Smoke and Fumes: The Climate Change Cover-Up

Directed by

A disturbing account of the biggest scandal in human history, as defined by Carroll Muffett, president and CEO of the Center for International Environmental Law, Washington, D.C. After decades of silence, several U.S. government agencies have launched an inquiry into the cover-up of fraudulent behavior by oil producers perpetrated since the 1950s concerning scientific research on the devastating environmental impact of their activities and misleading media campaigns. The report reveals how Exxon and Shell continue their operations undisturbed and manipulate environmental policy making, with dire consequences for the fate of our planet.
