Seveso, 10 luglio 1976: una storia da raccontare

Directed by

July 10 1976. A toxic cloud produced by the Icmesa chemical factory hovers over Seveso, Meda, Cesano Maderno and Desio. This documentary – based on the original footage by a video amateur during the following devastating hours – unwinds like a voyage in the memory of the people, who experienced the excruciating aftermath which caused them to leave their homes. Stories of a radical change in daily life due to an accident which was almost going to be covered up and filed, lead us to Seveso as it is today, almost thirty years after those tragic events.
