Recife da dentro pra fora

Directed by

It is a documentary about the Capibaribe River and Recife, a city in Northeast Brazil, inspired by the poem "Cao sem plumas" by Joao Babral, a well-known poet in Brazil.

All the shots were taken from a boat with a moving camera. These are the eyes of the river, which sees beautiful and ugly realities. In a poetic way, the film shows the route from the port to the residential neighborhoods, passing through the city, and shows many different activities, such as fishing, that allow the poor to survive.

The film wants to show that as long as we see the smile on the children's faces, there is still hope.
