A film on the world of smoke. From tobacco growing to its disastrous effects. After conditioning the habits of the northern hemisphere's population, tobacco companies now aim at damaging the rest of the world. A handful of cowboys with a cigarette hanging from their lower lip and a caravan of friendly camels are colonising Asian and African countries promising a future of wellbeing of which the use of tobacco would be a symbol. Third world women and children are charmed by the luring mirage; the tobacco multinational strategies are bringing to their knees the economies of these countries which are powerless before the mass forest devastation in favour of tobacco fields.
