Gemeinschaftsgärten in Berlin - Eine andere Welt ist pflanzbar! Teil 2

Directed by

Like many urbanites elsewhere around the world, more and more Berliners are digging gardens in their city not only to create an urban oasis but to show that urban development can be done differently. The film describes three examples of this alternative approach: the Kinderbauernhof Mauerplatz, 8000 sq. m. bought 25 years ago by a squatters group; the Garten Rosa Rose, a community garden started up during the guerrilla gardening movement; Laskerwiesen, a huge park planned as compensation for the construction of a new supermarket.
