Plastic and Glass

Directed by

Inside a waste treatment plant, the rhythmical flow of movement gradually turns into music. And when a worker starts to sing, all the others join in, united in a song of liberation. According to the filmmaker, the inspiration for this short, part documentary, part musical, presented at Locarno, came from the work of Alan Lomax and films by Jacques Tati.
