Planet Z

Directed by

Somewhere out in the universe, on planet Z a miracle occurs: suddenly water begins to spring from the soil, turning the desert into a luxuriant garden. All this changes, however, when a sort of fungus slowly but steadily makes its way through the vegetation, attacking all the plants with its toxic spores and ultimately killing off all forms of life. Shown in a preview presentation in competition at the Berlinale.
