For the protagonist, an anthropomorphic biomechanical being, every flower in its path is necessary for its survival: it can live only by filling its chest with the sap from the flower stem. Without realizing it, the protagonist has become a slave to the system it has constructed for living on the sea bottom. But an unexpected encounter with a fish raises the question of whether or not to sacrifice it, a dilemma that threatens the protagonist's alienated mechanical routine. An interesting 3D animation, Mirage is a dream-like piece of science fiction, with enchanting animated designs illustrating a futuristic fable.

«From my point of view, people always collect something for their own reasons and purposes. Ever since I was born I have been collecting knowledge, skills and materials to make a better life. I have never been satisfied with my status because once I achieve a goal, I pursue the next one. (...) While I was studying at the School of Visual Arts in New York, my father died of heart failure in Korea. He was healthy when I left home a year before. His sudden death awoke me from my endless desire to make a better life. Then I started to meditate on what my life means. (...) My animation Mirage is a story about my life as a collector with endless desires».
