This three-act story gives an account of the Salto di Quirra, Sardinia, experimental arms testing range, where, for over 50 years, countries from all over the world could test new weapons and the Italian government demolished the old military arsenals, seriously damaging the environment. From research in the film archives of the testing range to obtain footage showing unusual weapons, to a study by a geologist who wants to determine the pollution footprint of military arms testing, to the accounts by two animal raisers who have to deal with an area marked by the aftereffects of arms experimentation. Previewed at the Berlin Forum.
