Marcher sur l'eau
Directed by
Every day, fourteen-year-old Houlaye from Niger travels from her village to fetch water for her family in the northern region. With her companions, she covers long distances on foot, having to give up attending school. However, there is an aquifer spanning several thousand square kilometers in the subsoil of this region, which is one of the most impacted by global warming and the resulting migration of the adult population in search of livelihoods across the border. With the help of the NGO "Amman Imman: Water is Life", the dream of constructing a well is turned into a tangible achievement. The community that won the battle will also be in charge of running the new water network that will link all the villages in the region.

Water
Pure from its source, uncontaminated and bottled in plastic, this essential element is both wasted and sought after like a treasure, too much or too little in a changing world.
