For the past 50 years or more Atafona beach has been subject to erosion. As an exercise in resistance, Sônia has tracked the destruction caused by the sea; day by day, the waves rush in closer and closer to her house. She keeps a diary, building an emotional tie, a solitary pose that braves the final tragedy.
