Mango

Directed by
Nadia leaves Cairo for Helwan, a dreary industrial city, where she has to empty her deceased father’s apartment. She relives past memories and searches for the reasons why her father abandoned her when still a child in order to pursue his own dreams. The film explores Nadia’s pain and difficulty to mourn the loss, having nothing to remember him by but a fragile mango tree.
