February 2006: Turin and the surrounding mountains will host the 20th Olympic Winter Games. An overwhelming event if we think about all the projects, the costs, the transformation of the territory: dozens of construction and facilities sites, massive interventions on woods and water systems, involving thousands of people. But, what are the charges? This documentary compares two different and opposite worlds, alternating images and witness: the exulting and proud sponsors, the condemnations of ecologists, the silence of mountains. The title is taken from an Occitan Lou Dalfin's song and recalls the voices and the ancient life of valleys that the “Olympic dream” won't or can't hear.
