biography

A former history teacher, she was involved in the dissemination of women's cinema in the Visual Communication Group in the 1980s. Since 1989 she has been the author of short and medium-length films directly inspired by the reality of her experiences in the social field: the condition of women, immigration, the environment. These include Bambine di Palestina (1990), Okoi e i semi di zucca (1994) with which she won First Prize at the Spazio Torino Young People's Film Festival, Facevo le nugatine (1996) First Prize Spazio Italia and Cipputi Prize at the same Festival. In 1998 he made La combattente. Her language moves towards experimentation with mixed genres between documentary and fiction
