La natura della rete

Nature Network 2000 is the name the European Union chose to indicate a network of natural areas set up for protecting the most significant elements of biodiversity, thus conserving a unique, extraordinary heritage which is also fragile and at risk. The areas currently making up the network are denominated Sites of Community Importance (SCI): these sites are inspected by the European Commission before they can become Zones of Special Protection (ZSP). Accompanied by expert guides, we undertake a journey to discover the SCI of Liguria (over 100), starting with those in the province of Imperia.
