L'era dell'adattamento

Social injustice and economic instability have worsened with the environmental crisis: since climate change cannot be analyzed in isolation, technological solutions need to be found for reducing CO2 emissions, to name just one problem. These socioeconomic problems are proof that a model of continuing growth is unsustainable, having produced worldwide poverty and conflicts and that now theaten the whole planet. Perhaps, like the two directors suggest, the new environmental challenges may provide an opportunity for radically changing a system headed for disaster.
