Into Eternity

Directed by

In the few decades since the first nuclear power plant went into operation, over 250,000 tons of radioactive waste will need to be disposed of in the next 100,000 years. In order to store the waste in a place safe from natural or man-made disasters, a huge site is being constructed in Onkalo, Finland. The project is as unfeasible as it is inconceivable: how and to whom should the danger of these stockpiles be communicated in the far-off future?
