A prison wall separates the women inmates from the surrounding poplar wood. The distance between the two seems unbridgeable. Yet with the construction of a wooden panel painted during a workshop held in the low-security correctional institution for women with children, the women have recovered - through their voices and memories - a relationship with nature that seemed impossible to find. The story explores the emotions and thoughts of these women, becoming a metaphor and symbol for a rebirthing process that will open them to life’s infinite opportunities.
