Greenpeace Genetic Engineering Campaign 1996

Directed by

Dense collage of some of the actions organized by Greenpeace during the 1998 campaign against genetically modified food. Spectacular and non violent actions, according to a style and techniques that have gained a series of imitators, for example, in Seattle and in other following campaigns. Demonstrations in front of the headquarters of the multinationals involved in the production of GMO or public institutions such as the French Ministry of culture and the European Environmental Commission. “Back to sender” to Novartis of genetically modified crops, previously destroyed in Germany, Switzerland and France. Symbolic removals, performed in supermarkets, of products containing genetically modified ingredients.
