Grazie alberi

Directed by

Following the cutting down of trees in Turin between 2012 and 2014 (on Lungo Po Antonelli), decided by the city government against citizen protest but permitted according to legislation regulating urban river landscape planning, a citizen’s group was formed to promote and raise awareness about protecting trees through events, information, and cultural activities. Filmed on location, the video is a product of the project. Testimony by a resident calls attention to the relationship between man and nature.
