Frontier Town

Directed by

Fairbourne is a seaside village on the coast of Barmouth, Wales. Due to rising sea levels associated with climate change, the area has been listed for managed retreat. Identified as unsustainable to defend according to sea level rise management, the village faces an uncertain future, suspended between science and myth, politics and nature. Accounts by local residents and personal stories describe a scenario that one day could be where we live.
